The Allman Brothers Band's Second Peach Music Festival Set For August
Monday, February 25, 2013
The Allman Brothers Band's second annual Peach Music Festival will take place this summer and feature the Black Crowes and Bob Weir & Ratdog, among others. Ultimate Classic Rock reported that the four-day festival is set for August 15th through 18th at Scranton, Pennsylvania's Montage Mountain and Sno Mountain Ski and Water Park. Other acts set to appear on the bill are Grace Potter & The Nocturnals, Railroad Earth, Galactic, Rusted Root, and Jaimoe's Jasssz. Last year's inaugural Peach Music Festival was attended by over 30,000 fans.
Gregg Allman says that Allman Brothers Band fans deserve at least as much credit for a great live show as the band: "The audience is part of that, so much a part of that, because they really draw it out of you. The audience can get -- I mean, they have a lot to do with getting the performance they want. These people -- I've never seen anything like it. They're really into it."
