It looks as if the Rolling Stones will be performing at the 2013 edition of the Coachella Festival, according to Rolling Stone. An update appeared Friday morning (December 14th) on the tour section of the band's mobile app, listing an April 12th date in Indio, California and labeling it Coachella 2013. The annual alternative music festival has been staged at the Empire Polo Grounds in Indio every year since its inception.
The date was taken down not long after it was posted, but not before a number of fans had taken screen captures of it. It was reportedly back up a few hours later.
Coachella 2013 will take place in Indio over the weekends of April 12th through the 14th and April 19th through the 21st.
Meanwhile, the Stones' four-date mini-tour wrapped on Saturday night (December 15th) with the second of two shows at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. Bruce Springsteen, Lady Gaga and the Black Keys were among the scheduled guest performers.
Former guitarist Mick Taylor joined them at the first gig in Newark on Thursday night (December 13th). He also played with them in London as well.
More Stones dates are expected to surface soon, with a full tour possibly on tap for 2013.
