The Rolling Stones Sell Out London Shows In Seven Minutes
The Rolling Stones' two London shows for next month sold out in only seven minutes and temporarily crashed the Ticketmaster server, according to Vintage Vinyl News. Including the service charges, the tickets for the Stones' November 25th and 29th at London's O2 arena, ran from $170 to $650 -- with the "Special VIP Platinum Experience" tickets costing fans a cool $1,500. According to various Internet sites and insiders predictions, scalped tickets may run as high as $30,000 by the time of next month's UK shows.

The general on sale for the December 13th and 15th shows at Newark, New Jersey's Prudential Center is set for October 26th, with V.I.P. Hospitality Packages having gone on sale on Saturday (October 20th), and the American Express pre-sale happening today (October 22nd).

Rock reporter former Today Show music correspondent Rona Elliot has just published the new eBook, called Mick And Keith: Never Stop. The video-enhanced eBook features 22 exclusive interviews of the "Glimmer Twins" -- Mick Jagger and Keith Richards-- taped during a break in the Stones' 1989/1990 Steel Wheels/Urban Jungle tour.

Elliot told us that from what she's gathered, when it comes to Mick Jagger, there's far more there than meets the eye: "Let me say; I think there is a lot there -- but he doesn't let everybody in. You see, I think he's an extraordinary intellect, I think he's well read -- I think he's brilliant. But, I think that he has put up the wall -- the wall that is covered by charisma by the fact. And the real Mick, the Mick that is strategic, the Mick that is charming, that is the incredible father, is available to the people that he trusts around him."
