Quick Takes on Memphis Music Hall Of Fame, Police, Bon Jovi, Neil Diamond, and Lou Gramm
The inaugural inductees to the Memphis Music Hall of Fame have been announced. Among the legends set for induction on November 29th at the Cannon Center for Performing Arts are Elvis Presley, Otis Redding, Booker T. & The MG's, ZZ Top, Isaac Hayes, Jerry Lee Lewis, Al Green, Bobby "Blue" Bland, Al Green, Willie Mitchell, the Staple Singers, Sam Phillips, Jim Dickinson, Howlin' Wolf, B.B. King, and Rufus Thomas, among others (Ultimate Classic Rock) 
Police guitarist Andy Summers will be on hand at the New York premiere of Can't Stand Losing You -- a film based on his 2006 memoir, On Train Later. The premiere will be held on November 9th at the SVA Theater as part of the Doc NYC film festival, with Summers hosting the Q&A directly after the screening. StingUS previously reported that the film would feature "a selection of 25,000 photos selected by Summers to tell his story, displayed in an animated fashion. The burglar who broke into Jon Bon Jovi's New Jersey house has been sentenced to five years in prison. 22-year-old Nicholas Tracy plead guilty to a string of robberies -- including stealing $100,000 worth of jewelry and property from Bon Jovi. Tracy was apprehended by Middletown Police after being caught in the act during another robbery back on April 13th, 2011.(

Neil Diamond will be the recipient of this year's Legend of Live award at the 2012 Billboard Touring Awards ceremony. The festivities will be held on November 8th at Manhattan's Roosevelt Hotel. Diamond said in a statement: "There is no musical expression that quite compares with that of presenting your work to a live audience. It is the kind of experience that can both exhilarate and humble you at the same time. I'm honored to receive Billboard's Legend of Live Award, and to have had the opportunity to perform live to audiences all over the world for the past 45 years.
