'Vanity Fair' Stands By Their Story On Michael Jackson's Funeral
Vanity Fair is standing by their story about drama surrounding Michael Jackson's funeral. It the article, the magazine accused Janet Jackson of delaying Michael's funeral for several months because she demanded a repayment of $40,000. Janet's lawyer demanded a full retraction of the story -- and RadarOnline.com confirmed that Janet didn't delay Michael's funeral.

Vanity Fair told E! News that they stand by their story, but they did make a mistake saying that Janet wanted a $40,000 repayment -- it was actually $49,000.

The magazine said in a statement, "Vanity Fair stands by Randall Sullivan's assertion that Janet Jackson's demand to be reimbursed for her deposit on her brother's burial plot was one of the reasons Michael Jackson's funeral was delayed. Sullivan's sources told him that the amount of the deposit was $40,000, but records released last week indicate that the amount of the deposit was $49,000. Vanity Fair will make that correction on VF.com." The magazine also stated that they have records to prove it as well.

RadarOnline.com wasn't able to find any records that Janet paid the $49,000 deposit.
