Elton John is getting sued over the lyrics to his song, "Nikita." According to TMZ, Elton insists that he did not steal the lyrics and is hoping for the suit to be thrown out of court. A songwriter named Guy Hobbs reportedly sued Elton in April claiming that he stole his song lyrics then used them for his chart topper, "Nikita." Elton claims that Hobbs suit is so vague that he has no right to say that he violated copyright infringement.

 

Elton wants Hobbs' lawsuit dismissed stat. A judge has yet to rule.
