Grammy winning diva Patti Labelle has reportedly settled a suit with a woman who has claimed that she verbally abused her.
In an interview with The New York Post, Roseanna Monk accused Patti of throwing water at her and then cursed her and her child out in the lobby of a New York apartment building back in 2010.
The fight happened when Patti accused Monk of letting her 18-month old daughter Genevieve play in the lobby. Monk and her husband Kevin decided to sue Patti when she refused to apologize.
Patti has settled the suit by paying the family $100,000 -- which the Monk's have decided to give to a children's charity. She told the newspaper, "This is an opportunity for Patti LaBelle to help a lot of children, and I feel good about that."
