Groton Teen Charged With Driving Under Influence of Drugs in Homer
A Groton teen is facing charges in Homer after he was found behind the wheel while high on drugs.

Homer Village Police say they stopped a car Monday morning around 2 o'clock at the intersection of Albany St and Locust Ave.

Police say the car did not have working tail lights.
 
18 year old Kyle Short of 9 Pleasant Valley Road, Groton was behind the wheel. The officer determined he was under the influence of an unknown drug.
 
Short was later charged with a misdemeanor count of driving while ability impaired by drugs, and ticketed for not having a license, operating an uninspected motor vehicle, and for not having tail lights.
 
The investigation is continuing and further charges are expected.
