An Onondaga County man has admitted to breaking into a home in the Town of Preble last April.
Cortland County Sheriff's Investigators arrested William Marshall of Liverpool back in mid-April.
Back on April 2nd or 3rd Marshall broke into a home on Steager Road, he took a wallet. The owner was at home during the incident.
Marshall is accused of using credit cards that were in the wallet at several locations throughout Onondaga County, he was charged with felony counts of burglary and grand larceny.
Marshall pled guilty to a felony count of burglary, in exchange he will be sentenced to 2-4 years in State prison. He must repay nearly $17 hundred dollars in restitution.
Marshall could be sent to prison for up to 7 years when he's sentenced on September 16th, he's currently in the County jail on $10 thousand dollars cash bail.
