Dryden Man Arrested Following attempted Break-in In Freeville
A Dryden man is facing an attempted burglary charge after he tried to break into home in Freeville.

On Monday afternoon around 1 o'clock Tompkins County Sheriff's Deputies responded to the area of Johnson Road in Freeville for a report of a man trying to gain access to a home.
Deputies found 27 year old Christopher Capalongo of the Town of Dryden near the scene..    
Police say Capalongo tied to remove an air-conditioner from a window in the home in an attempt to gain entry to steal property.
Capalongo was confronted by the homeowner and fled on foot into the swamp located behind Mix Brothers. Capalongo was charged with a felony count of attempted burglary.

He was arriagned in Dryden Town Court and sent to the Tompkins County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash or $100,000 bail bond.
