Hearings This Week on Comcast Time Warner Merger, Public Can Leave Comments Via Phone
The $45.2 Billion dollar deal that would see Comcast take over Time Warner Cable services, including for 2.6 million customers here in New York State, is up for public comment this week.

The Public Service Commission has scheduled hearings in Amherst (Buffalo) on Monday evening, Albany on Wednesday and New York City on Thursday.   In all three sessions, there's a public information session at six, and a formal public hearing for receiving testimoney and comments at 7:30pm.

No hearings are scheduled in Central New York, though comments can be sent by email to secretary@dps.ny.gov.

You can also mail comments to   Kathleen H. Burgess, Secretary, Public Service Commission, Three Empire State Plaza, Albany, New York 12223-1350.

There is also an opinion phone line for in-state callers, 24x7, at  1-800-335-2120. Press “1” to leave comments, and mention the Comcast/Time Warner merger.
