Homer Teen Linked to Residential Burglary on Cayuga Street
A Homer teen who is already facing felony charges for stealing a car in Cortland late last month is now facing felony burglary and other charges in Homer.
Homer Police have arrested 16 year old Azzat Ibrahim of 27 James Street, Homer.
Ibrahim was arrested earlier this morning, Police say back on May 30th, officers investigated a break-in at 91 Cayuga Street.
The burglary  took place sometime between May 17th and May 27th, someone broke into the house and took miscellaneous change and a diamond ring.  
Police say Ibrahim, along with two juvenile accomplices, were responsible for the burglary. 
Ibrahim  was charged with felony counts of burglary and grand larceny. He was also charged with 2 counts of endangering the welfare of a child- and conspiracy; misdemeanors.
Ibrahim was arraigned in the Homer Town Court and remanded to Cortland County Jail on $2500 cash bail or $5000 bond.

He is scheduled to return to Homer Court on June 17th.
The City of Cortland Police Department assisted the Homer Police Department with the investigation.
