Homer Police Charge Two Men Following Drunken Disturbance at Homer Bar & Grill
Homer Village Police have arrested to area men following a disturbance at Hobeau's Bar and Grill last Saturday evening.
Homer Police say around 8:30 on May 31st the responded to to a report of a disturbance at the restaurant on Route 281 in the village.
Upon arrival the officer learned that 27 year old Matthew Clark of 33 Lincoln Ave., Cortland and 48 year old Stephen Clark of 10 Meadow Street, Homer were intoxicated and had become disorderly inside the restaurant and refused to leave.
When police were call the two men did leave, officers located the Clarks as they were heading back to the elder Clarks home on Meadow Street. Police say the two men then became uncooperative and verbally abusive with the officer. Deputies from the Cortland County Sheriff’s Department and the New York State Police responded and assisted the Homer Officer.
Both men resisted arrest and were combative while they were being arrested. Stephen Clark was charged with misdemeanor counts of obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest.
Matthew Clark was charged with misdemeanor counts of obstructing governmental administration, criminal trespass, and resisting arrest In addition to disorderly conduct; a violation.
Both were arraigned in Homer Court and remanded to Cortland County Jail.
Matthew Clark was held on $1000 bail, Stephen Clark was held on $500 bail. They both due back in court today.
