Syracuse Man Sentenced For Selling Cocaine in Cortland

A Syracuse man was arrested back in October for selling cocaine to an undercover informant in Cortland will spend up to 2 years in state prison.
Last month 31 year old Wilford Clarke Jr. of 662 Brighton Ave. West, Syracuse pled guilty to a single felony count of criminal sale of a controlled substance.
Back in October a Cortland County Grand Jury handed up a sealed indictment against Clark accusing him of selling cocaine to an undercover informant back in March of last year.
Clark previously plead guilty to the charge as a second felony offender, in exchange prosecutors recommended he be sentenced to two years in state prison and two years of post release supervision.
County Judge Julie Campbell followed through on the sentence yesterday. Clark faced up to 12 years in prison as a second felony offender.
