Ray Delaney, Local Musician, Bluegrass Festival Founder, Former Radio Host Has Passed

It's with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of a talented local musician and WXHC family member.
Ray Delaney former co-host of Hometown Bluegrass for more than a decade here at WXHC, and co-founder of the annual Bluegrass on the Homer Village Green now in its 23 year, lost his courageous battle with cancer Monday.
Delaney along with his family band The Delaney Brothers Bluegrass is well known among the Bluegrass community. His steadfast support of the genre has brought the musical tradition to countless audiences in central New York and beyond.
Ray Delaney was 60 years old, we will miss his talent and unwavering smile.
