Florida Man Facing D-W-I & Other Charges After Crashing Into Sign on I-81 in Homer

A Florida man is accused of driving distracted and drunk, after crashing into a mile-marker on Interstate 81 in the Town of Homer Monday.
State Police say 35-year-old Christopher Collier of Tallahassee was texting, and driving drunk when he crashed into the sign on the highway, causing damage to his vehicle.
It happened in Homer, on the stretch of I-81 between Cortland and Syracuse.
Troopers say Collier's blood alcohol content measured .13%.
He was ticketed, and is due in the Town of Homer Court in two weeks.
