Ithaca Man Charged After Threatening Patrons at a Bar in Lansing With a Gun
An Ithaca man is facing weapons possession charges after making threats with a gun at a bar in the Village of Lansing.
 
Tompkins County Sheriff's Deputies say back on February 28th, officers were called to the Crossroads Bar and Grill at 3120 Triphammer Road. Tompkins County dispatchers received  a 911 call reporting that someone at the bar had a gun.
 
When officers arrived the suspect who was identified as 39 year old Olanje Carpenter had already fled the scene.
On Monday Carpenter was located in the City of Binghamton where he was taken into custody.
 
Carpenter is charged with a felony count of criminal possession of a weapon, unlawful fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle which is a misdemeanor, and multiple vehicle and traffic offenses.
 
Carpenter was arraigned in the town of Lansing Court and sent to the Tompkins County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash or $20,000 Bail bond.
