Cornell, Ithaca College, & TC3 Teaming Up to Create Ithaca Business Incubator
Cornell University, Ithaca College, and Tompkins Cortland Community College along with private partners are teaming up to create a small bsuiness incubator in downtown Ithaca.
Representives from all three colleges and the city are holding a press conference today to discuss the plan.
The incubator will be located near The Ithaca Commons and is intended to bring up and coming entrepreneurs from throughout the area to downtown Ithaca to work, learn and create a thriving business hub.
The incubator is anticipated to open by this summer with an expansion expected in early 2015. It will feature 9,000-square-feet of space for start up companies.
Upon graduation from the incubator, companies may also qualify for additional support through the new START-UP NY program.
