The Cortland Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a missing Cortland teen.
City Police are looking for 18 year old Ashley Chatman. Police say Chatman is multi-racial male, standing 5'10" he weighs around 135lbs, has brown eyes, and black hair.
Police say Chatman ran away from his mother's home on Samson Street on December 1st around 1:30 PM following an argument with a younger brother.
Chatman was last seen wearing a red and black colored sweatshirt, grey cargo pants, a black coat, and sneakers; he was last seen on North Main Street in Cortland on December 5th.
Chatman was born and raised in Louisville, KY. And his family has only lived in Cortland for about seven months. Prior to moving to Cortland Chatman lived in Auburn, NY for about six months. Police say Chatman has a history of running away and spent a portion of his childhood in Foster Care in the Louisville area. His hobbies include art and comics.
