Sturridge is charged with a felony count of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Back on September 28th, City Police stopped a vehicle on Tompkins Street, during that Sturridge who was driving was found to be under the influence of alcohol. During a search of the vehicle police found 20 packets of an unknown substance. After testing at a state crime lab it was determined to be heroin.
