Horseheads Man Charged with Lewd Conduct in Ithaca
Friday, November 29, 2013
Ithaca Police have charged a Horseheads man with public lewdness.
32 year old Brian Vesneske was charged with public lewdness and endangering the welfare of a child.
A girl reported that on Nov. 15 around 5 p.m., she was walking on Center Street when a man approached her in a vehicle and asked for directions to a store nearby. Police said the man exposed his penis to the girl after asking for directions to another store and then propositioning the girl. Then he drove away.
An investigation yielded Vesneske as a suspect, though police did not say what led them to focus on him.
He was arrested on Friday at Ithaca police headquarters with his attorney.
Vesneske was arraigned in Ithaca City Court and released to the custody of his attorney. He is scheduled to appear in court again on Jan. 13.
