Cortland Man Charged For Having Indoor Pot Grow Lab
A Cortland man is facing charges after members of the Cortland County Drug Task Force uncovered a sizable indoor marijuana growing operation at his Crandall Street home.
On Wednesday police arrested 35 year old Michael Craig of 30 Crandall Street, Cortland.
Back in on July 16th, members from the County Drug Task Force responded to Craig's home for a drug investigation. During a search of the house police say they found 96 marijuana plants growing in an elaborate indoor grow lab in the basement of the house.
Officers removed several items of equipment used in the growing and processing of marijuana.
Craig was not immediately charged because police were processing the evidence and awaiting crime lab results.
Yesterday Craig was charged with misdemeanor count of unlawfully growing cannabis without a license and felony charge of criminal possession of marijuana.

Craig was issued appearance tickets and is due to appear in Cortland City Court on November 22nd.
