McGraw Man Takes Plea Deal in Meth Case
A McGraw man will spend up to 2 years in State prison for producing the drug methamphetamine.
On Tuesday 30 year old Richard Hoy of 3631 McGraw-Marathon Road appeared in Cortland County Court where he pled guilty to a felony count of unlawful manufacture of meth and criminal use of drug paraphernalia; a misdemeanor.
Hoy was arrested back in September, Police found him in possession of the ingredients and equipment to manufacture the drug at a home on Washington Street in Cortland.
Hoy was previously arrested in July of 2012 after he was found with more than a pound of marijuana during a traffic stop on Greenbush Street. He eventually pled to criminal possession of a controlled substance and was set to receive probation for that charge, before he was arrested on the meth case.
