State Police arrested a man Saturday for drinking and driving after he crashed into a guardrail on I-81 in Homer.
On Saturday State troopers arrested 29 year Christian W. Bryant of Henderson, NY for a felony count of aggravated driving while intoxicated, leaving the scene of a property damage accident and moving from lane unsafely.
Police say Bryant hit a guiderail on the Interstate and then kept driving. A State Environmental Conservation Officer located Bryant and turned him over to the state police. Bryant was later found to have a blood alcohol level of .26, which more than three times the legal limit.
Bryant was arraigned in the Homer Town court and remanded to the Cortland county jail in lieu of $750.00 cash bail.
