Drug Traffic at Cortland House Leads to Three Arrests
Cortland City Police made a series of drug arrests over the weekend.

On Friday night, Cortland City Police responded to a home on Washington Street based on a tip of drug activity at the house.
Upon further Investigation City Police arrested three people on drug and other charges. 45 year old Roger Morgan 1811 Green Lake Road, Little York was charged with two misdemeanor counts of possessing a controlled substance. Police say Morgan was found with heroin and methamphetamine.
24 year Savannah Johnston-Distin of 47 S. Ave., Cortland was charged with a misdemeanor count of possessing a controlled substance, she was found with a small quantity of meth.
20 year old Joshua Metcalf of 14 Port Watson Street, Cortland who was also found at the Washington Street home, he was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and riding his bike on the sidewalk; both violations. City Police say Metcalf was also wanted on a warrant for an outstanding charge of petit larceny.
All three were released and are due in Court on October 21st.
Police say additional arrests are pending.
