Warrant Issued For Cortland Shooting Suspect
Cortland City Police have obtained an arrest warrant for a woman wanted in connection with a shooting on South Main Street last Friday.
Cortland City Police are looking for 26 year old Shanessa Pittman of 152 Main Street.
Pittman is accused of using a handgun to shoot 20 year old Jevon Sturridge during an argument outside her home last Friday.

Sturridge sustained a gunshot wound to his left forearm; he was treated for the wound at the Cortland Regional Medical center and released.
Pittman is wanted on a warrant charging her with felony counts of reckless endangerment, criminal possession of a weapon, and assault; she also faces a misdemeanor charge of prohibited use of a weapon.
Pittman is believed to be armed and dangerous; she has previously lived in New York City, Alabama, and Virginia.
Police have not released a motive for the shooting.
