Freeville Man Charged Following One Car Crash
A Freeville man is facing charges including driving under the influence of drugs following a one car crash in the Town of Dryden

On Friday evening just before 7:30, Tompkins County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to Short Road for a one car crash. 
Police say prior to their arrival, the driver has left the scene of the accident. The driver, 34 year old James R. Spaulding of 3 Short Road was found walking away from the scene.
Spaulding was later arrested for D.W.I. of drugs, he was also charged with two counts of moving from lane unsafely, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, and aggravated unlicensed operation.
Tompkins County Sheriff’s Deputies were assisted in the investigation by Cornell University Police Department.
