Cortland Man Ticketed Following Dryden Crash
A Cortland man suffered a medical emergency early Monday morning and crashed his car near the Cortland Tompkins County line.

Tompkins County Sheriff’s Deputies say around 6:30 Monday morning, Deputies responded to State Route 13 and Gulf Hill Road in the Town of Dryden for a report of a one car accident with the vehicle over a steep embankment.
Police say 48 year old Joseph Banknoski of Cortland, NY was travelling south on Route 13 when he suffered an undisclosed medical problem and drove off the west shoulder of the roadway and traveled another 150 feet over an embankment.
Banknoski was issued a ticket for failure to keep right.  Cortland County Sheriff's Office, Dryden Ambulance and McLean Fire Department assisted at the scene.
