Tully Man Breaks into Cortland Y-W-C-A, Found in Bathroom
A Tully man is facing charges; he’s accused of breaking into the Cortland Y-W-C-A and relieving himself.

34 year old Jason Belt of 4 Warren Street, Tully was arrested early Sunday morning; Belt is accused of smashing a window at the Y-W-C-A at 14 Clayton Avenue. Belt then entered the building and defecated on the floor.
Cortland City Police responded to a building alarm and found Belt in a bathroom; he’s accused of damaging a toilet as well.
Belt was charged with a felony count of burglary along with misdemeanor charges of criminal mischief and criminal tampering.
Belt was arraigned in City Court and released; he’s due back in court next month.
