Wednesday Evening Thunderstorm Knocks Down Limbs and Trees in Cortland County
A strong thunderstorm blew through portions of Cortland County last night, there were no reports of flooding, but strong winds took down several trees in a short amount of time.
 
Firefighters in Homer, Cortlandville, and Cortland were busy last night responding to several reports of trees and limbs down as result of the storm.
 
That national weather service issued an alert shortly before 9 o’clock last night; no injuries were reported as a result of the storm.
 
The Village of Marathon reported a power outage this morning, it’s unknown if it is related to the storm.
