Cortland Man Arrested for Having Inappropriate Contact With Nursing Home Resident
A Cortland man is accused of inappropriately touching a resident at a Cortland nursing home facility.
31 year old Jesse Hollenbeck of 60 Sawyer Drive was arrested Friday and charged with a felony count of endangering the welfare of an elderly, incompetent or disabled person.
 
Cortland Police say back April Hollenbeck who was employed as a housekeeper at the Cortland Regional Medical Center’s nursing home facility entered the room a 90 year old resident.
 
The resident claims that Hollenbeck touched his penis; Hollenbeck told police he was providing personal care for the man.
 
Hollenbeck was arraigned on the charge and released; he is no longer employed at the facility.
