Ithaca Man Airlifted After Crashing Into A House
An Ithaca man was airlifted to a Syracuse hospital after his car crashed into a home Thursday morning.
The crash occurred just before 9 o’clock in the 1300 block of Trumansburg Road
 
The Ithaca Fire Department says the driver 24 year old Hoyt Benjamin of Ithaca had to be extricated from the car.
 
Firefighters had to stabilize the house with portable struts due to the damage.
 
The Benjamin was taken to Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse.
 
The Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash, charges are pending.
