Large Brush Fire Burns 25 Acres
Firefighters from 11 different departments responded to a large brush fire in Lafayette on Sunday.
It took firefighters nearly six hours to bring the blaze under control, the fire scorched about 25 acres along Route 20.
The fire came close to some homes, no property was damage.  
A helicopter was used to help put out the flames.

Lafayette Fire Chief Greg Hoxie says the cause is believed to be a campfire that got out of hand.
