Several People Arrested in December Cocaine Bust Sentenced in County Court
Some of the individuals who were arrested in a major cocaine bust here in Cortland County back in December were sentenced in Cortland County Court Tuesday.

Among the individuals sentenced yesterday in connection with the cocaine pipeline; Joseph Crosson and Gage Hill were both sentenced to five years probation. Gerry Stewart of Cortland was sentenced to one year in the Cortland County Jail. Syracuse area resident Raymond Williams will spend up to 3 years in state prison, he then faces three years of post release supervision when he gets out.

29 year old Corey Grier of 15 Elm Street, Cortland was also among the nearly 40 people arrested in connection with the drug bust.

Grier was considered one of the central figures in the local sales and distribution of cocaine in Cortland County. Last April Grier was sent to Fort Drum in Jefferson County where he is accused of selling seven ounces of Cocaine. Other local dealers obtained cocaine from Grier as well.

Grier will spend up to seven years in state prison, he pled guilty to two felony counts of drug possession, prior to the bust in December Grier had been arrested on an unrelated matter, at that time he was found with cocaine and marijuana.
