Prominent Syracuse Attorney Admits to Possessing Child Porn

Syracuse lawyer Martin J. Rothschild who is well known for his television ads promoting his personal injury law practice faces three years in state prison after he admitting today to possessing child pornography.
Rothschild appeared today in Onondaga County Court where he pled guilty to the child pornography charge.
In exchange for the guilty plea Rothschild will be sentenced to three years in prison, be forced to give up his longstanding law practice and register as a sex offender.
Following the plea Rothschild was taken into custody and bail was set at $100,000 cash or bond, he is due for sentencing this summer.
Back in late February federal and state authorities seized the personal computers from the attorney’s Syracuse law office and his home in Manlius.
