Preble Bartender Ticketed For Serving Alcohol to Underage Patron
Monday, March 18, 2013
A local bartender was ticketed Friday for serving alcohol to an underage patron.
State Police say last Friday troopers arrested 62 year old Paul Berry of Tully for prohibited sale of an alcoholic beverage.
Berry is accused of selling an alcoholic beverage to an individual under the age of 21 while working as a bartender at the Denny’s Mountain View Restaurant on State Route 281, Preble.
Berry was issued an appearance ticket and is due in Preble Town Court on April 9th.
State Police periodically send undercover underage patrons into bars and stores that sell alcohol to verify that clerks and bar tenders are not violating the state’s alcohol control laws.
