Cortlandville Man Sentenced to Prison For TV Theft
A Cortlandville man will spend up to six years in state prison for stealing a television and failing to register as a sex offender.

Back in October, Cortland Police arrested two men after they broke into a home on Madison Street and took a TV.

21 year old James Keeney of 3550 Route 11, Blodgett Mills and 19 year old Jonathan Saxe who has no home address were both charged with a felony count of burglary and a misdemeanor charge of petit larceny.

Keeney recently plead guilty to the burglary charge as well as failing to register as a sex offender. Keeney was sentenced to 2-6 years in State prison; he faced 3 to 11 years.
