Lansing Crash Sends Multiple People to the Hospital

Tompkins County Sheriff’s Deputies are investigating a three car crash that occurred Tuesday morning in the Town of Lansing; the crash sent several people to the hospital.
Just before 7:30am Tuesday morning deputies responded to the intersection of N. Triphammer Rd. and Asbury Rd. in the Town of Lansing for the multi car crash.
Police say Ethan H. Kutler of Ithaca, NY was traveling northbound on N. Triphammer Rd. when he attempted to negotiate a left turn onto Asbury Rd while failing to yield the right of way to southbound vehicle operated by Brian Hildreth of Genoa. Hildreth swerved to avoid the collision. After impact, Hildreth’s Vehicle was then struck by another northbound vehicle, being operated by y Sandra K. Koch of Ithaca.
Three passengers in Hildreth’s car were hurt all three airlifted from the scene due to their injuries. A child under the age of 18 was also taken to the Cayuga Medical Center via Ambulance. The extent of their injuries was not released and the investigation continues.
