Cortland Police Say Senior Punched Neighbor in the Face
 Cortland City Police have arrested a feisty senior citizen who is accused of punching her neighbor in the face.
 
City Police responded to 168 Main Street Tuesday evening for a report of an argument.
 
Officers say 62 year old Sandra McCarthy was involved in an argument with a neighbor, at some point McCarthy punched the woman in the face.
 
McCarthy then struggled with officers when they attempted to take her into custody. McCarthy was charged with a misdemeanor count of resisting arrest and harassment.
 
The brawling baby-boomer was released on appearance tickets and is due back in Court next month.
