Police Looking For Suspect in Lansing Gas Station Hold-up

Tompkins County Sheriff’s Investigators are looking for a suspect in connection with an armed robbery in the Village of Lansing Saturday night.
Around 10:00 PM Saturday night, officers with the Cayuga Heights Police Department and the Tompkins County Sheriff's Department responded to a robbery at the Mobile Gas Station on Triphammer Road across from the Shops at Ithaca Mall.
The suspect who is described as a male with a slender build, wearing blue jeans, boots, camouflage jacket, gloves with a white cloth over his face entered the gas station and displayed a large knife to the cashier. The thief took an undisclosed number of cigarette cartons from the station and fled.
