Ithaca Woman Accused of Aiding Police Shooting Suspect in Court
An Ithaca woman who was charged with hiding a man wanted in connection with the shooting of an Ithaca City Police Officer in October appeared in court yesterday where she was arraigned on a grand jury indictment.
35 year old Kimberly Harden was arraigned Monday on charges of hindering prosecution in the first degree; Harden is accused of hiding 22 year old Jamal Booker after he shot Ithaca Police Officer Anthony Augustine back on October 11th.
Booker was indicted last week on has been indicted last week on multiple charges, including attempted murder, assault in the first degree, and aggravated assault on a police officer. Booker is being held on $500 thousand dollars cash or $1 million dollars bond.
Following the arraignment Harden was sent to the Tompkins County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond.
Booker is scheduled to be arraigned on Wednesday.
