Police Accuse Cuyler Couple of Stealing T.V. From Walmart

A Cuyler Couple is accused of possessing stolen property after they stole a t.v from Walmart.

35-year-old Shane Granger and 30 year old Mandie J. Willis both of 7837 Cowles Settlement Road, Cuyler were both arrested Wednesday by Cortland County Sheriff’s Deputies and charged with a misdemeanor count of criminal possession of stolen property.

Early Wednesday morning Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the Cortlandville Wal-Mart store to investigate a larceny of a television.

Officers were provided a detailed description of the vehicle which the suspect had left in.

The vehicle was later located behind a house on Charles Street in Cortland.

Police arrested Granger and Willis, they were arraigned in Cortland City Court and sent to the Cortland County jail, Granger was held on $1000 cash $2000 bond and Willis was held on $250 cash $1000 bond. Both are due back in Court next week.

Police say the investigation continues and additional arrests are possible.
