Former S-U Assistant Hoops Coach Bernie Fine Will Not be Charged Following Year Long Sex Abuse Review
Former Assistant Syracuse Basketball Coach Bernie Fine will not be charged in connection with an investigation into allegations of child-molestation.

Federal prosecutors revealed today that after nearly a year of investigation including the review of more than 100,000 pages of seized documents and interviews 130 witnesses, Fine would face no criminal charges.

Nearly a year ago federal prosecutors launched a criminal probe after two former SU ball boys, Bobby Davis and stepbrother Mike Lang, accused Fine of molesting them decades ago when they were children.

After the allegations surfaced Fine who coached for 35 years along side Head Basketball Coach Jim Boeheim was fired from his position. The case came to light after ESPN and the Syracuse Post Standard released the allegations.
