Marathon Drug Arrest Leads to Meth Lab Discovery in Northern Broome County
Cortland County Sheriff’s Investigators made an arrest last Thursday that resulted in the discovery of a meth lab in the northern Broom County Town of Killawog.

Last Thursday afternoon the Cortland County Drug Task Force conducted a traffic stop on Peck Street in Marathon. Officer stopped 23-year-old LeaAndra Roden McCosker of Jennings Creek Rd. Killawog.
During the stop McCosker was found with approximately 11 grams of methamphetamine and a small amount of marijuana. 
The arrest and discovery led officers to a meth in Broome County in the Lisle area. Police say that where McCosker manufactured the drugs.
The New York Police Special Operational Response Team (SORT) responded and assisted with the investigation.
McCosker was charged with a felony count of possessing of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana (violation), aggravated unlicensed operation a sisdemeanor  and vehicle and traffic violations including uninspected motor vehicle, unsafe tire, and no seatbelt.

McCosker was arraigned in the Town of Lapeer Court and remanded to the Cortland County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond.
