Cortland's Catherine Bertini Tapped For Committee to Investigate Libyan Embassy Attack

Cortland native Catherine Bertini has been tapped by U-S Secretary of State Hilary Clinton to serve on a team investigating the attacks on the U-S Embassy in Libya.
Bertini is the Dean of the Maxwell School at Syracuse University; she has previously served as the undersecretary general for management at the United Nations where she was in charge of the world food program.
The panel was appointed to investigate the Sept. 11 death of Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans who were killed by a mob at the consulate in Benghazi.
