Music News

Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers kick off their 44-date North American 40th anniversary tour tonight (April 20th) at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma’s Chesapeake Energy Center. Through the middle of June, Joe Walsh will be serving as the opener at most of the shows. Tom Petty explained how night-after-night, he rewards the fans who stick by him no matter what: “I actually don’t sell the first two rows. We don’t even put the first two rows on sale and we wait until we’re actually at the venue, and then I have them go out and give the last two rows the first two rows — and it’s wonderful.”
