Metal Detector Turns Up Weapon At City Hall

A man who told Cortland Police officers that he didn’t have a place to live was arrested at City Hall Wednesday morning.

Earl Miller, who is 52, possessed a gravity knife that was picked up by the metal detector at the door to City Hall, according to police.

He returns to face the metal detector once again for his court date on the felony weapons possession charge on April 28.
